Narrative
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private investigator’s ad and becomes a mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary «El Agente Topo».
These actors get better with age and they play them wonderfully in this sweet comedy series!
I’m 67 years old and it was wonderful to see so many of our generation of actors and their great comedic style. The script gets a little lost in solving the mystery and gets more into the character’s story.
It really isn’t a mystery
That’s okay because you have a pretty good idea of who the culprit is about halfway through. You don’t mind that it’s not really a mystery because you just have fun watching these cute old guys work and show off their stuff.

Just a tribute to how brave it takes to be a senior citizen and still be active and feel visible in our youth-oriented society. What a sweet tribute to those who support and help navigate the minefields of aging, this series was.
